One very busy week of personal meetings and group meetings is now over. It flew by so quickly. We are happy to witness that many of the companies participating in the trade mission were able to get into serious talks about potential contracts. This is to show the level of competitiveness and innovation of Canadian businesses even in the global economic downturn.
Some companies were asked to bid on current projects in the UAE, right on the spot during their initial meeting. Some participants were honored to be invited to spend the day with members of the royal family in order to discuss their potential sponsorship agreement.
This first trip to the UAE for most of them has proved to exceed their expectations and we are quite certain that it will not be their last visit to the UAE.
